Bill McGrady, it is claimed, is at least 200 years old and that
he has been around "forever". The story is that when he arrived
on the boat he was inducted into the northern army and fought
in all major campaigns with the NY 91st regiment. He was, it is
said, to have led 20 skirmishes against the southern armies
including Pickett's charge, where he killed "Almost Everybody".
He claimed it was target practice.
McGrady had a long standing relationship with P.T. Barnum,
King of the Impresarios who McGrady called "King of the Morons".
His flight from the Irish potato famine led him into the Barnum
Company where Barnum took a shine to the itinerate creep.
Billed as the "Sub human Irish Baffoon" McGrady excelled on
the tricycle ball with monkeys and eventually set a record still
unbeaten when he formed a pyramid involving 14 primates and
himself. Asked for an interview last month McGrady stated, "I'm okay,
leave me alone."
